what makes a good sequel???

a lot of you may not like sequels, and there are definitely certain flaws associated with them (originality, overdependence on fx, etc), but being an avid movie fan (i'll see just about anything and everything) i am a big fan of sequels and feel i have a pretty good sense of what makes a good one.

so last night was Party at The Tank III...the last in the inaugural trilogy of parties at...well, the tank. rest assured there will be more in the future, but this was it for a while. i would have to say it was a successful party and as the main host (last host standing as usual...but i'll get into that another time) it looked like everyone had a good time or at least was mildly entertained at some point over the course of the evening. but i digress...

...a sequel needs to be bigger than the original (or previous sequels), the effects must be more elaborate or at least more of them, and plenty of new and old 'characters'...i'd say we covered all that for sure. there was a lot more video taken (special thanks to erin and julia) and some very elaborate party favors (all fish related as far as i could tell, again...thanks erin and julia).

i hate to leave you all hanging, but there is plenty to be cleaned up and i have to meet up with sarah and we're heading to panchero's. there will be plenty of pics added over the course of the next entries, and i'll eventually have the video broken down for pics too (i must say its pretty funny, everything from some decimating flip-cup match-ups, dinosaurs fighting, a new kind of 'fish bowl', guest interviews, and the eventual return of team bowfin).

to be continued...
