a long time ago...

there was this guy who really liked fishes who had a blog that was updated almost religiously...yeah, so what happened???

the summer has been an interesting one so far, definitely different from those past. rest assured i'll be back with more consistent updates in the very near future. in the mean time i have to get some sleep so i can make my research 'interview' tomorrow and tour the USGS laboratory and brush up on my knowledge of 'bloaters' (a type of fish found in the great lakes) for tomorrow's meeting. good times, but at least it will add some structure to my schedule.

i also want to add that there is most definitely something to be said for close friends and family. things have been crazy as of late and without that particular infrastructure i'd be in a straight jacket to say the least.

so apparently this saturday will be the first annual "summer solstice celebration" at The Tank. emails will go out sometime in the very near future, so don't panic just yet! what better way to kick off the official start of summer than a get-together at The Tank?!

ok time for bed, i promise the next entry will be more entertaining...or at least longer...which is almost as good. peace out kids <:><
