Reality Unchecked...

it's 2:30am and i still have a quarter of a can of red bull to finish, and a lot of papers/outlines left to grade for my parasitology lab...hence, the fish guy is back to waste your time.

i'm pretty much going to pretend i didn't go on a 2.5 month hiatus, although i may have to mention a thing or two here and there to get everyone back up to speed with the current insanity of life. all you need to know for now is that it was st. patrick's day over the weekend, and although i'm not a HUGE fan of the holiday like many others; peer-pressure, a friend's birthday, and a couple other factors led to quite an eventful evening on the green holiday. and let's not forget the green burritos at panchero's.

anyway, to the subject at hand. a couple things to note currently at The Tank:

Australian lungfish (Neoceratodus forsteri)

estimated wild max: 5.5 feet

Alligator gar (Atractosteus spatula)
estimated wild maximum size: 10 feet

Pirarucu (Arapaima gigas)
estimated wild max: 15 feet (world's largest freshwater fish)

what the heck are we doing with them at The Tank? exactly.
