more randomness...

just some random stuff from today since its (finally) the end of the workday and time to gear up for the evening...

-i was walking to panchero's to get that burrito i had previously referenced and i noticed a car with a ton of stuffed animals in the back window. upon further observation i realized that they were all slight variations on the same stuffed animal...none other than Fievel Mousekewitz from An American Tail (1986). yeah, it was both creepy and nostalgic at the same time. there are too many cats in america and i have seen no streets of cheese.

-there are a TON of people out and about on campus, this probably has to do with the beginning of the school year of course, but its still a drastic change from the summer (all but this past summer have been spent in Muskegon, MI for research). not only are there a lot of people out, but there are lot of people out RUNNING. yes, the dreaded workout curse of high school and undergrad that afflicts me and my sisters and i am sure many others. we all ran CC and track in the early years and now cannot get a good workout other than running.

even though i was forced to go on a run about a week ago (i was so close to taking a nap) i actually plan on running more once again. in preparation i bought 5 powerbars when james/damon/me went to kroger's last night. many times, however, i end up eating the power bar but doing no running. we'll see how that goes.

-AJ pointed out that 'Get Over It' is not listed with my favorite movies, yet hal and i talk about it so much (myself especially) that it's surprising it was left out. i have therefore added it in as i am not afraid to mention that kirsten dunst is my favorite actress and this movie (she's one of the main stars) is hilarious (a lot of that is due to martin short). if you haven't seen it you should rent it (it's got something of a modern shakespearean backdrop to it) or just talk to me since i own it.

-i came home to find out that damon not only bought a new fish for himself, but he bought about 50 fish for me...all feeders of course, but james and i walked in to find 2 VERY FAT stingrays and 2 fat gars. damon enjoys feeding our fishes (all freshwater) since he can only feed his fish (all saltwater) food equivalent to the mass of a penny. james and i are considering firing damon from the fish feeding job.

so yeah, that's all for now. <:><
